Philippe artaud, a culinary artist

ArtaudAfter a 23-year career, Philippe Artaud’s imagination, drive and ambition are still on the rise!
An unclassifiable chef among the greats of his generation, this specialist in mediterranean cuisine knows the savours and colours of the south like no other.
Without ever departing from mediterranean traditions, with a market-based cuisine conceived around the best products, phillipe artaud manages to create astonishment every single day. Animated by the search for excellence and truthful flavours, he composes his dishes like the tableau of a master : swirling dances of colour in an ever-changing geometry. Because in the culinary universe of philippe artaud, the dishes are also eaten by the eyes.

The mediterreanean toque

With Philippe Artaud, the mediterreanean is treated to all its honours. Vegetables, fish, southern specialties & spices . . . . His cooking is inventive, refined, clarified. Curious, Philippe Artaud also creates a selection of flavours from other worlds. A cuisine of moroccan spices, or perfumed asia dishes with lobster springrolls, are typically specialties of the chef.

Taste and pleasure

The var native built his style and cuisine in the bosom of the hilton restaurants in Japan, Austria, Greece, and Italy, but also in Cannes on the "Croisette", where he remained 20 years before donning his apron at “la terrasse du 18” in april 2008.

At 47 years old, Philippe Artaud has become a master in the art of welcoming. The chef’s receptions, veritable culinary ballets, have long insured his reputation on the croisette.
